 Optimized for good f/b E plane and H plane, boom is
3.2 +2.25 +3.2m of 32mm od pipe with 3.2m of 39mm
pipe over the middle.  The 39mm has fingers 4cm long
made using 8 saw cuts each end. A jubillee clip
tightens the fingers and tape wound round the ends
of the 3.2m pieces that goes inside stops it
rattling. Also some screws to stop it turning. Sizal
rope inside the whole boom length. 

Elements touch the boom with 12cm long L brackets.
Matched to 50ohms with two 99cm (1/4 wave) paralled
lengths of RG58U tightly coiled to make a choke
balun.
